See You After The Pole?

What is that; well let me share with you about the opportunity to grow and train our youth to be leaders in their schools and to reach their generation. We, as adults can disciple and equip them with the tools to evangelize in the schools.

When I stepped up to the challenge God gave me to get in the game and let the city of Winnipeg know about See You At The Pole, I contacted Campusfire to find out more about it. I had a wonderful conversation with Darian Kovacs a young man with a passion for Jesus. (please go to the site and read more)

Darian shared with me, 96% of the groups will meet and pray and then 4% will continue to participate in different activities at their schools. Some started bible studies, others had prayer groups. Fabulous and completely awesome for those who were able to continue. But the 96% may need a little help whether it is getting the materials to them or discipleship. So, they have compiled a wonderful package "FREE" that they would like to send to these youngsters to help them. I received one myself and I am completely thrilled at the opportunity to put into action. My son signed his school up and will be praying with his friends at the pole. I have decided to start a club 47 in my home, my children had many of their friends are coming to my home this summer. I have been sharing Jesus with them in practical ways and the Word of God. They are all excited to be meeting one day a week! This Campusfire material and promos are excellent and sparked a desire in my heart and my children to really get their friends.

Here is my proud mother praise report: my son has been praying with his friends just recently and when they felt scared and confused this week they read scripture from the bible. God brought them comfort and took their friendship to another level. They asked when I was starting my group not until the weekend of the 20th FYI. They ask him question about the bible some he can answer and others he asks me for help. Awesome!

I spoke to a mother who's daughter started with herself and a friend they have about 9 kids who have joined their lunch time bible study. That is right here in Winnipeg! God is moving and we need to get on the boat, it's going to be an awesome ride.

Father, thank you for my brothers and sisters who will be at the poles and those who are unable to participate physically. Lord, I ask for a wonderful morning and good weather. Lord, may each of us be sensitive to your Holy Spirit at the poles and we welcome the opportunities to share with your people in works, prayers, and our daily living. Please provide for Campusfire and the entire team. I pray this in Jesus name! Amen!
